Internship Tasks
Depending on your skills and availability, placements may vary from travel agencies, hotels, planning firms, to tour operators and other hospitality organizations. The work environment will give you a hands-on approach to the ins and outs of the Hospitality and Tourism industry. You will genuinely benefit from the experience of your co-workers who will ask you to step out of your comfort zone and take on a leading position in engaging with actors from different backgrounds. Interning abroad will teach you how to interact with people from all around the world, so you too can contribute to the field while gaining strong relational skills. Here are some examples of tasks you could be asked to carry out:
- Creating new promotional materials and reviewing content
- Managing bookings, and answering customer inquiries
- Managing and coordinating events and organizers
- Improving quality control to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Developing marketing strategies and launching campaigns
- Liaising with other departments in order to carry out missions

Note that you will be given a personal supervisor during your internship, who will train and guide you throughout your journey.
