Visa Information
We strongly suggest you have a look at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Website first. Many countries are part of the Visa Waiver Program. Citizens from these countries get a tourist visa on arrival at the countries of our program for 14 up to 90 days. All other nationals would first have to get in contact with the Embassy in their respective countries before going abroad.
The Business Visa
(M-visa) |
The M-visa is for those who are invited to come to China for commercial and trade activities.
Requires exit and entry every 30, 60 or 90 days (depending on the country). Only for unpaid internships. |
The Student Visa
(X-visa) |
X-visa students need to have a registered residence.
X1-visa: Intended study for more than 180 days up to one year
X2-visa: Intended study for up to 180 days
Students who study in China at universities on an X-visa are allowed to perform internships and other work as long as they have submitted internship applications to their schools and received approval. |
Criteria & Restrictions
Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of six months from the date of entry.
