Internship Tasks
Depending on your skills and field of your choice, your placement might be in a company focusing on the following branches: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, and many more. You will be part of a team of experienced engineers, so you will walk away from your time interning in Asia with more practical skills than an academic degree could possibly provide. Hands-on experience is just your first step in pursuing an international career. By interning in Asia you will not only gain professional and multicultural skills, but also prove your openness to new experiences, which are both highly valued by employers.
Previous interns have accomplished the following tasks over the course of their internship:
- Conducting studies to improve existing systems and process flows, and making recommendations
- Completing product development tasks and testing processes and materials
- Writing reports and presenting findings
- Liaising with other departments to create new products/processes
- Running quality and safety tests
- Assisting with development of projects/partnerships, agenda, budget
The list above only shows examples of tasks our previous interns have been involved in. Internship tasks may greatly vary from intern to intern depending on the respective host company.
Note that you will be given a personal supervisor during your internship, who will train and guide you throughout your journey.
