Disneyland – the happiest place on earth

A world full of magic, fun, laughter, and adventure, Hong Kong Disneyland enchants visitors from all over the world. Located in the heart of Lantau Island, this mesmerising theme park will make you feel as though you have just stepped into a fairytale.

Accompanied by Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends, you will start a fantastic magical journey that will bring out your inner child. With unique scenic spots and Disney Theme Hotels, you can escape from the real world, dress up at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and live your Disney dream.

What makes Hong Kong Disneyland special?

As one of 12 Disneyland theme parks, Hong Kong Disneyland features the same Disney magic as the others – but with an Asian twist that makes for a fascinating cultural blend. You even get to see Disney characters dressed in traditional Asian garments and the entire resort is designed in adherence to the rules of feng shui!

Compared to the other Disney parks, Hong Kong Disneyland has one more clear advantage: It is not as crowded! With the lowest daily capacity of visitors out of all Disneyland parks, Hong Kong is the place to be if you do not want to cut your way through the crowd only to buy a snack.

The cutest foods you’ve ever seen!

Talking of snacks: There is so much to delight your palate! If your stomach is growling like a grizzly bear, grab some hearty meal or a quick snack. Whether you fancy Asian specialties like veggie curry or Western favourites like golden chicken nuggets, you will encounter a globetrotting variety of delicious flavours from all around the world.

You do not want to queue for too long or just prefer a quick bite? Opt for the mouth-watering snacky foods. If you are looking for a photogenic Disney-themed snack, try the Mickey Mouse waffles (Main Street Market) or Pooh Bear or Donald Duck donuts (Market House Bakery).

From Disney classics like American Cheeseburgers, Cotton Candy, and soft serve to special local treats like Hong Kong Egg Custard Tarts, honey mustard popcorn, and chicken legs in soy sauce, Hong Kong Disneyland is foodie heaven.

Let’s ride!!

The park consists of seven themed areas: Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, and Toy Story Land.

Hong Kong Disneyland not only features the same rides you will find in other parks such as “It’s a Small World”, but also hosts special attractions you will only find here, such as the outstanding Iron Man Experience, and the world-first “Mystic Manor” – just with fewer crowds and shorter queues!

While the rides are the main attraction at Disneyland, going to see a show is a good opportunity to sit down and chill out. The most popular show is the Festival of the Lion King, an original interpretation of the movie with spectacular costumes, dancing, singing, and visual effects.

Other alternatives to rides include taking the thrilling Jungle River cruise through the dense jungle setting of Adventureland, watching your favourite Disney Mascots march in the Flights of Fantasy Parade, or marvelling at the Disney in the Stars Fireworks by night.
