Why Japan
Ancient temples and villages, colorful Kimonos, traditional festivals, and more – Japan is a region rich in history and culture. Spending a night on a tatami mat or bathing in an onsen, there are plenty of opportunities to experience traditional Japanese culture firsthand.
Enjoying local dishes is also a great way to get to know the culture. You can do so by practicing your chopsticks skills while eating Ramen or Sushi or pouring sake for your friends in an Izakaya.
Above all, Japan is a land that combines contrariety. Not only does the “Country of the Rising Sun” shine with its tradition and culture, but also with the seemingly natural co-existence with the modern world. The Skyview over a Japanese metropolis can be mesmerizing, a Karaoke evening will leave you with a smile, while the Anime culture will astonish you.
Just as mesmerizing are Japan’s diverse landscapes. Some cities are just an hour away from the mountains, the sea, fascinating parks or forests making it a perfect spot for sport and nature lovers. Enjoy an exciting hike uphill or a slide down on skis. Besides, taking a walk through the nearest forest or swimming in the sea can be a relaxing experience.
While wandering around Japan and gaining all kinds of experiences, you will get to know a huge variety of warm-hearted people. Take the opportunity to strike up lots of new friendships during your Japan internship adventure. After that, future trips will be even more worthwhile because you get to visit your friends all over the world!
